Lucas is the best! I had never kitesurfed before and even though the wind has been tough this month, he’s been very dedicated to my learning! Hes very encouraging, patient, has plenty of gear, makes it fun and has radios which helps a lot in the water. You can tell he genuinely loves to kite and to teach. Highly recommended.

We met Lukas from Kitemecca at the kite beach in Las Terrenas. From the first second he was very friendly explaining us everything to know about the spot and how weather/wind is working at the spot. Without hesitating he help us out with some spare equipment which made our holiday. He got great riding and teaching skills when it comes to kitesurfing. Big recommendation if you are looking for an experienced kite school and teacher in Las Terrenas! Hoping to be back soon!

I could not imagine a better place and a better school to start my kitesurfing journey! First of all Lukasz is a great teacher with a lot of experience and good approach to every student. He makes you feel comfortable and always watches out for safety in the water. There is no "cheating" on hours, like with other schools, when there is no wind or if conditions are too difficult. Kite Mecca is a super fair school that makes sure your energy and money are not wasted! The last but not least, spot is amazing and l could not imagine better place to learn kitesurfing and fall in love with this sport. I will definitely be back and l will follow this school for my future progress to become a pro.
